<p>* Reading a textbook is quite different from the way a novel is read. Be sure you can answer any question and explain any specialized vocabulary in the study guide or book without looking back. When you can do that, you have read it enough for today. If you cannot do that, read it again. The number of times you will need to re-read content material will vary, depending upon the subject and difficulty of the text, as well as your previous knowledge of the material, but I would recommend a minimum of three times.</p>
